According to exit polls, the SDP coalition has won the most votes in the Zagreb City Assembly and the Rijeka City Council, while the HDZ coalition leads in Split, and the HDSSB coalition in Osijek.
According to the exit poll conducted by Ipsos Puls for three national television stations, the SDP coalition in Zagreb leads with 26.48 percent, closely followed by the list of Milan Bandić with 25.18 percent. The HDZ coalition follows with 15.70 percent and the HSLS coalition with 10.90 percent.
The left coalition led by the SDP convincingly leads in Rijeka with 45.83 percent of the votes, followed by HDZ with 17.04, the Croatian Labourists with 14.23, and PGS with 10.32 percent.
For the Split City Council, the HDZ coalition received the most votes, with 23.16 percent of respondents voting for it according to exit polls, followed by the SDP coalition with 21.04 percent, Kerum’s HGS with its partners receiving 11.71 percent, and the independent list of Ivan Grubišić with 11.27 percent.
In Osijek, the HDSSB list received the highest number of votes for the City Council – 31.06 percent, followed by the SDP with 20.67 percent and the HDZ with 13.92 percent.
