Minister of Defense Ante Kotromanović and the President of the Management Board of Đuro Đaković Group signed today a contract for the procurement and equipping of combat armored vehicles of the Armed Forces with Protector M151 weapon stations of 12.7 mm caliber.
The value of the contract is 112 million kuna, and Đuro Đaković is expected to deliver the equipped combat armored vehicles during this and the following year.
Đuro Đaković has signed a cooperation agreement with the Norwegian group Kongsberg for the procurement and installation of Protector M151 weapon stations of 12.7 mm caliber, which is currently a global leader in this segment due to its characteristics and widespread use. The cooperation between the two companies was further strengthened last year with an agreement on the joint development and commercialization of the Protector Medium Caliber RWS 30 mm weapon station, as stated by Đuro Đaković via the Zagreb Stock Exchange.
