Deputy Prime Minister Branko Grčić stated today in Varaždin, after signing a contract for co-financing 40 small capital projects, that Plan 21 is, in its key provisions, the law for them and that they adhere to it.
He commented that Plan 21 has undergone two to three amendments in the year leading up to the elections, in accordance with changes in the environment and the situation, which is very dynamic, especially in times of crisis.
– Plan 21, in its key provisions, is the law for us and we stick to it – emphasized Grčić, thus commenting on the statement of the President of the Republic Ivo Josipović that Plan 21 has proven ineffective and needs to be changed.
Grčić identified the key provisions of the plan as the introduction of order in the state, i.e., the public sector, fiscal consolidation, reforms, and the two most important things: the fight for jobs and the recovery of investments in Croatia.
The Deputy Prime Minister also conveyed that any plan during a four-year mandate cannot be realized in the first year.
