Union referendum on the blockade of public and state services

Twelve unions of public and state services will announce a referendum on the possible blockade of the entire system of public and state services at today’s press conference.

The referendum is expected to take place among the membership on Friday. They want to force the Government to change its policy or to resign.

The blockade of the system is expected to be the culmination of the protests that the unions have planned, which began with a large May Day protest in Ban Jelačić Square in Zagreb, organized by all five union centers.

The next public gathering is planned by the unions of public and state services for this Saturday, on the day of the electoral silence.
