French Bricostore, a chain of stores for home and garden improvement, will close its sales centers in Zagreb’s Sesvete, Pula, and Kaštel Sućurac by June 30, definitively leaving Croatia, reports Poslovni dnevnik.
Bricostore announced its departure on its Facebook page Bricostore Croatia, and the departure has been confirmed to Poslovni dnevnik by multiple sources in business circles. According to unofficial information, the Zagreb center will close after the completion of the clearance sale of all goods, scheduled for June.
Bricostore entered Croatia in 2004, opening its first sales center in Kaštel Sućurac. In early 2007, the Pula sales center was completed. In 2012, the largest sales center, located in Zagreb and measuring 10,000 square meters, was opened.
A total of 187 million kuna was invested in the Zagreb center, bringing the total investment in Bricostore in Croatia to 463 million kuna. Over 300 people are employed in Bricostore stores.
