The Zagreb Stock Exchange, together with Erste Invest, Erste&Steiermärkische Bank, and BNP Paribas Cardiff Insurance, participated in the project ‘Step Forward’ this year, which presents children from the SOS Children’s Village Lekenik with opportunities in choosing their future profession.
Students from the final grades of elementary school visited the mentioned companies, where they were presented with the business operations and types of jobs performed by employees to better understand the possibilities of choosing a future profession and to facilitate their decision regarding further education.
The children had the opportunity to see a real working environment and workplaces and talk with employees; they also visited the Erste & Steiermärkische Bank branch in Vukovarska, and at the Zagreb Stock Exchange, they watched a film that introduced them to the way securities trading works.
– The gathering was very intense, interesting, and cheerful, filled with much laughter and interesting questions from the children, and we believe that such cooperation will continue in the future to the satisfaction of all participants – stated on the ZSE pages.
