Current Zagreb Mayor Milan Bandić forgot to submit his independent list in the Peščenica-Žitnjak district. This is the district where Bandić lives and which has been his stronghold until now.
Although Senka Knežević from Bandić’s election headquarters stated that it was an agreement between the current mayor and Ivan Šikić not to submit a list for Peščenica since they always win there anyway, according to 24sata, it turns out that Ivan Šikić forgot to compile and submit the list. Bandić was indescribably angry because he lost that district, where he took his first political steps in the municipal committee of the Communist Party of Croatia.
