Večernji list has obtained the content of an email sent by the Director of Legal Affairs of Croatia Airlines, Branka Sremac, to the management of CA – President Krešimir Kučko and member Zlatko Širac – regarding 42 dismissals they intend to issue to flight attendants who were on sick leave last week.
The email summarizes previous discussions about the disputed dismissals, but also acknowledges that they are essentially illegal, reports Večernji.
– As discussed yesterday, dismissals carry a high risk of being declared illegal in court given Croatian judicial practice – states the lawyer. She also emphasizes that they can withdraw from the dismissals even after initiating the dismissal procedure before the Workers’ Council up until the conclusion of the main hearing for the labor dispute cases they will have.
