Today, the company IZO opened a new facility in the Krvavci business zone in Barban, marking the first facility opened in this business zone, inaugurated by the Minister of Entrepreneurship and Crafts, Gordan Maras.
The company IZO, based in Balići, specializes in the production of machinery and equipment for the food industry as well as food production, specifically the production of bread, pastry products, and cakes.
Approximately 20 employees will work in the new facility in the business zone in Barban, and already, according to the company’s director, Gracijano Roce, plans for the expansion of the newly opened hall are underway.
Minister Maras expressed his satisfaction with the development of the Barban business zone, highlighting it as an example of the direction he wishes Croatia to progress.
The Barban business zone is slowly but surely moving towards realization. In one year, two halls have already been constructed, while simultaneously, the realization of smaller facilities has begun, said Maras.
This confirms the correctness of the investment of four million kuna in this zone, believes Maras.
The Ministry will always support business zones and quality business projects. With a little synergy between the state administration and local self-government, we will contribute to the development of the economy and the creation of new jobs, he stated.
The Mayor of Barban, Denis Kontošić, thanked the Ministry of Entrepreneurship for allocating four million kuna to the municipality for this business zone last year.
