Cassa di Risparmio di San Marino successfully capitalized Bank Kovanica with four million euros, and the CEO Gian Luigi Bonfe is satisfied with the results achieved in 2012.
In a statement, they note that despite the negative business result for 2013 due to provisions made in the loan portfolio caused by the deterioration of the domestic economy, Bank Kovanica recorded positive operational performance. This is a result of a 12% increase in net banking income and a corresponding systematic reduction in operating costs.
– The positive result achieved in operational performance in 2012 is a sign that we have correctly assessed how to direct Bank Kovanica in the right direction, thus opening a new dimension in our work,” said the CEO, adding that the new owners believe in the prospects of Bank Kovanica, but that the bank still operates independently.
In the statement, they announce that they continue to develop new products by raising the level of informatization of banking processes, and soon they will also enter the field of social networks. Bank Kovanica has more than 120 employees in 16 branches.
