The Mayor of Zagreb, Milan Bandić, will not participate in political debates with candidates until the end of the pre-election campaign for local elections.
He stated this while guesting on the Interview of the Week on Soundset, where he also spoke about the alleged rigging of jobs for his godfathers, of whom there are as many as 139. To none, Bandić said, did he rig a job.
Revealing details about his electoral list for the City Assembly, he announced that two-thirds of the list will consist of new people, while some of the old names will drop off.
-My electoral list will be woven from the highest quality people in Zagreb, these competent and responsible people will be the seeds, the backbone of the Assembly’s work. I will not have any special campaigns, I will not confront candidates, I will do my daily job and that will be my campaign. Here, you have an ‘off information’ – stated Bandić.
If he wins the elections, Bandić has big plans for the city loser Holding.
-What the gentlemen of drunken billionaires have been doing in Holding for the last three and a half years is terrible. We will need a year after the elections to bring things to zero. Those who brought Holding into this situation will have to answer – announced Bandić, who is ready to report all irregularities in Holding to the relevant authorities.
