The public company Autoceste Federacije BiH, headquartered in Mostar, announced on Thursday that it has opened bids for the construction of the Svilaj-Odžak section of the highway on the international corridor Vc in northern Bosnia and Herzegovina, among which is the bid from the consortium led by the Croatian company Viadukt.
According to Autoceste FBiH, bids for the construction of the 13-kilometer section were submitted by Granit AD from Macedonia, the Viadukt d.d. (Croatia) and Hering d.d. (BiH) consortium, and a consortium consisting of Strabag AG (Austria), Euro-Asfalt d.o.o. (BiH), and Željezničko-građevinsko poduzeće d.d. (BiH).
According to the international tender, in addition to the construction of the Svilaj-Odžak section, the bidder must participate in the construction of the international border crossing Svilaj on the Sava River towards Croatia and the construction of another loop for connecting the city of Odžak to Corridor Vc.
The Autoceste Federacije BiH announced that after analyzing the tender and technical conditions from the bids, they will make a decision on the most favorable bidder.
As reported by the media in BiH, the financially most favorable bid was submitted by the Strabag consortium with a price of 82.8 million euros, followed by the Viadukt consortium with a bid of 98.7 million euros, and Granit AD, which would build the highway section for 112.9 million euros.
