The Sun Annoyed Her in the Car, So She Developed an iOS App

Sunny Side is a mobile application for iOS devices developed by Milanda Miliša in collaboration with the digital agency Neuralab.

This graduate teacher decided to tackle a problem that troubled her every time she took the bus – she always ended up on the ‘sunny side’ where the sun bothered her throughout the journey. Miliša came up with the idea for the app and found partners who could technically execute her concept – the digital studio Neuralab. Thus, the Sunny Side app was created, which shows users on which side of the vehicle they will be exposed to sunlight during their journey.

In the app, you must enter your starting point and destination as well as the time of your journey, and within a few seconds, you can see on which side of the vehicle it will be sunny.

The app, which consists of the design and programming code, was approved by Apple in a process that takes about two weeks. This app is global and covers the entire market.

In the first few days since the app was launched, it had several hundred downloads. In the first month on the market, it is free to download from the internet, and after that, the price of the app will be 1 dollar. Miliša is already planning an upgrade of this version with additional features and a version for other mobile operating systems.
