At the promotional fairs held in Tokyo, Okinawa, and Osaka, Podravka and Uniline jointly promoted Croatia last week through the presentation of the gastronomic and tourist qualities of the destination.
-I will conquer Japan with authentic Dalmatian and Croatian delicacies- announced Split’s gastro-artist Hrvoje Zirojević during the announcement of his trip to Japan, specifically to Tokyo, Osaka, and Okinawa. His words came true and delighted an exceptionally large number of guests, visitors to the promotional events organized in the land of the rising sun by leading domestic companies in the food and tourism sector – Podravka and Uniline.
It is worth mentioning that this action by Podravka and Uniline is just one in a series of activities through which they jointly operate in markets around the world. The cooperation agreement between these two companies was signed in mid-November with the aim of a joint presence in key markets.
The significance of the cooperation lies in the potential synergistic effects, and through joint action via their own channels, the offer is expanded, and sales results are increased.
By utilizing available resources, both participants in the cooperation market their products through marketing and sales activities, establishing and positioning them across international markets. The cooperation has quickly led to progress in the context of branding and positioning Podravka’s products, as well as Uniline’s products at the level of receptive business.
In recent years, the local market has shown an increasing interest in visiting Croatia and getting to know all the advantages that our destination offers. That Croatia is indeed valued is evidenced by the reactions of Japanese tourism experts who predict additional growth in sales of arrangements for Croatia in the upcoming period.
