As the date of Croatia’s EU membership approaches, information about what will change in the lives of entrepreneurs is becoming increasingly sought after.
The State Office for Trade Policy was established with this very intention – to serve as a support for the Croatian economy and its representative in EU bodies on trade issues. Denis Čajo, the head of the Office, in an interview for the latest issue of Lider says that their task is to assist in preparing companies for the changed business conditions after July 1, to help resolve the problems that companies face in export markets, and to eliminate non-tariff barriers to trade.
Although we no longer negotiate with CEFTA countries, our most important trading partners, but rather the EU, all information about the results of negotiations can be obtained by entrepreneurs directly from Čajo’s office.
