The Croatian football champion Dinamo earned 178 million kuna in 2012 and spent 164 million kuna, resulting in a profit of 14 million kuna, announced the club’s executive president Zdravko Mamić at yesterday’s Assembly of GNK Dinamo held in the press hall at Maksimirska 128.
It should be emphasized that these figures do not include the transfers of Domagoj Vida to Kyiv’s Dynamo and Mateo Kovačić to Milan’s Inter as they were completed in 2013.
Mamić emphasized that the past year was one of the most successful in the club’s history in terms of results. ‘We won the double crown and played in the Champions League again,’ said Mamić at the assembly attended by 53 out of 76 assembly members.
In his presentation, the executive president of the ‘blues’ emphasized that ‘Dinamo feeds Croatian football and there are 14 players from Dinamo in the Croatian national team,’ and that ‘from Dinamo’s qualification for the Champions League, every Croatian club receives half a million kuna, and from next year, one million kuna.’ He also announced that Dinamo will have a new scoreboard by spring, similar to the one at San Siro.
‘Never has Dinamo been so trampled, but they will not bring us down. The authorities are doing everything to suffocate us,’ Mamić stated, adding: ‘They will not destroy our three sanctities: Family, faith, and Dinamo.’
