The Association of Investment Fund Management Companies HGK, at a meeting held on February 15, 2013, at HGK, elected Hrvoje Krstulović, CEO of ZB Invest, as the new president of the Association.
Marko Makek, a member of the Management Board of Nexus Private Equity Partners, was elected as the vice president. Additionally, Vesna Tomljenović Čičak, CEO of Raiffeisen Invest, was elected as a new member of the Association Council.
At the meeting, representatives of the Association were also elected who will work in collaboration with the Croatian Financial Services Supervisory Agency on the development of regulations that need to be adopted based on the Act on Open Investment Funds with Public Offering and the Act on Alternative Investment Funds, which come into effect on the day of the Republic of Croatia’s accession to the European Union.
The members of the Association are all investment fund management companies established in Croatia, of which there are currently 26. There are 120 open investment funds and 7 closed funds. The net assets of open investment funds at the end of 2012 amounted to 12.9 billion kuna, which is an increase of 8.7 percent compared to the end of 2011.
