Gordan Maras is fighting with the Economic Cooperation Funds to reduce their guaranteed rights from the mandate of the previous government.
As reported by Večernji list, Maras has reduced their compensation on two occasions, but the role of the state in the FGSs is very small. They have received 34 million kuna in compensation from the state over two years, and only seven investments have been presented.
The ministry has not denied any company the management of the fund so far, but according to Večernji’s reports, Maras is now ready to do so within a few weeks, and the state is least satisfied with the performance of Alternative FGS, which has entered the Center and Vaba bank.
