After Crobex strengthened by more than one percent yesterday, profit-taking sales prevailed today on the Zagreb Stock Exchange, with the prices of Kraš and Vupik shares falling the most.
Around 12:00 PM, Crobex was down 0.83 percent, at 1,966 points, while Crobex10 was down 0.79 percent, at 1,095 points.
Regular trading amounted to 8.6 million kuna, which is 2.4 million less than yesterday at this time.
“After yesterday’s strong growth, today’s downward correction of Crobex is actually a healthy market movement. The stock of Valamar remains the main focus for investors as they await the intensification of financial report announcements from domestic companies,” says Nigela Bubalo, broker and member of the Management Board of the investment company Credos.
The Valamar Adriatic stock recorded a turnover of 1.65 million kuna. After rising by 50 percent since the beginning of the year, its price fell by 1.74 percent today, to 158.5 kuna.
Next is Kraš stock, with a turnover of 884,000 kuna. Its price plummeted by 5 percent, to 400 kuna.
Among the most liquid issues, only the stock of Đuro Đaković Holding recorded a price increase of 0.56 percent, to 86 kuna. The stock of HT, on the other hand, weakened by 0.71 percent, to 215.36 kuna. Among the larger losers, the stock of Arenaturist stands out, with its price declining by 5.13 percent.
