Pula’s Uljanik announced that it has today submitted a binding offer to the Ministry of Economy for the purchase of shares of the Shipbuilding Industry 3. Maj from Rijeka.
-Uljanik submitted a binding offer to the Ministry of Economy for the purchase of shares of BI 3. Maj on February 8- Uljanik reported via the Zagreb Stock Exchange.
Uljanik did not provide any other details, and it has not been possible to obtain details of the offer from either the company or the Ministry of Economy at this time.
The government decided in June last year that 3. Maj would be privatized by selling it to Uljanik, and in mid-December last year, it accepted Uljanik’s letter of intent, while at the end of January, Uljanik’s Restructuring Program for 3. Maj was submitted to the European Commission.
Last week, Minister of Economy Ivan Vrdoljak stated that he expects the privatization of 3. Maj to be completed in May.
