With solid trading, the indices on the Zagreb Stock Exchange are stagnating today with mixed signals, with the stocks of HT, Valamar, and AD Plastika being the main focus of investors.
Around noon, Crobex was up 0.24 percent, at 1,926 points, while Crobex10 was down 0.18 percent, at 1,075 points. The regular trading volume amounted to 10 million kuna, which is approximately 300,000 kuna more than yesterday at this time.
-After yesterday’s indecision, the domestic market is back in the positive today. It is evident that Crobex is in a rising trend characterized by minimal corrections of about 15 to 30 points. As soon as prices drop slightly, new capital flows into the market. From a technical perspective, this is an extremely positive signal- says Siniša Gašparević, investment advisor at Splitsko-Dalmatinska Bank.
The highest trading volume so far has been achieved by HT shares, 3 million kuna, with a price increase of 0.2 percent, to 217 kuna. Following is the Valamar Adriatic share, with 1.4 million kuna in trading volume. Its price jumped 6.7 percent, to 114.5 kuna. A million kuna trading volume was also achieved by AD Plastika shares, with a price increase of 2.47 percent, to 123 kuna.
On European stock exchanges, indices are moving diversely today, with the London FTSE up 0.42 percent, and the Frankfurt DAX down 0.20 percent.
-And on global financial markets, stock indices are in a rising trend, while bond markets are declining. The price of gold is consolidating, and silver is strengthening, which from a technical perspective gives a ‘buy’ signal- notes Gašparević.
