Seven Bids Received for the Restructuring of HŽ Cargo

The Ministry of the Sea, Transport and Infrastructure has received seven bids to participate in the restructuring process of HŽ Cargo, as announced on the Ministry’s website.

Letters of interest were sent by DEAL d.o.o.; Nexus Private Equity Partners d.o.o. (for the Nexus FGS fund), Quaestus Private Equity d.o.o. (for the Quaestus Private Equity Capital II fund) and Đuro Đaković Holding d.d.; AT Kearney GmbH; Rail Cargo Austria AG; DB International GmbH; SC Grup Feroviar Roman S.A.; Advanced World Transport (AWT) B.V.

The bids will be reviewed by the Ministry’s commission, after which further consultations will follow, according to the announcement. The Ministry of the Sea, Transport and Infrastructure published a call for expressions of interest for participation in the restructuring process of HŽ Cargo d.o.o. on January 8. The restructuring process also includes the possibility of acquiring its business shares, and the deadline for submitting applications was until January 31.
