Salaries for 240,000 public and state officials will now be calculated and paid exclusively according to a unified system prescribed by the state.
This means that different allowances will no longer be paid separately, nor will it be possible to be paid differently for the same job, confirmed Finance Minister Slavko Linić in Šibenik.
At this moment, there is complete insight into the salaries of 24,000 state officials, and within a maximum of two months, police and military personnel will also enter this system. By the end of the year, education and healthcare will also be included in this system.
This system is set up in a way that prevents cheating. This means that all those who had mismatched personnel records with the organizational structure established by the Government now had to adapt and align. Likewise, everything that was negotiated by the unions, and it is enough to say that the healthcare unions alone had over 130 allowances, is the reason that forced the Government to move to a unified calculation.
