The Ministry of Finance today raised 238 million kuna and 16.5 million euros from the sale of treasury bills, which is below the plan, with the same or lower interest rates than at last week’s auction.
At today’s treasury bill auction, the Ministry of Finance offered 250 million kuna and 25 million euros worth of treasury bills for subscription. Banking institutions and other investors submitted bids worth 248 million kuna and 21.5 million euros.
Ultimately, treasury bills worth 238 million kuna and 16.5 million euros were subscribed, which is equivalent to 125.29 million kuna.
Utilizing the entire offer, the Ministry of Finance sold 25 million kuna of treasury bills maturing in 91 days, with an average interest rate of 1.00 percent, which is 0.09 percentage points lower than at last week’s auction.
There were also 83 million kuna of treasury bills maturing in 182 days subscribed, with an average interest rate of 1.80 percent, which is 0.10 percentage points lower than at last week’s auction. The Ministry of Finance also accepted all bids.
