January was marked by a total turnover increase of 31.2 percent on the Zagreb Stock Exchange, with regular trading of shares rising by as much as 63.4 percent, and stock indices also strengthened.
Crobex increased by 8.5 percent at the end of January compared to the end of December, reaching 1,887.81 points, while Crobex10 rose by nine percent to 1,059.14 points. The total turnover of the Exchange amounted to 429.6 million kuna, of which regular trading of shares accounted for 314.1 million kuna.
The most traded share in December, with a turnover of 50.9 million kuna, was the HT share, whose price increased by 9.6 percent last month to 216.05 kuna.
Following with a turnover of 25 million kuna was the Petrokemija share, which saw its price rise by 8.3 percent to 236.71 kuna.
Shares of Valamar Adria Holding were sold for 17.7 million kuna in January, with their price increasing by 18.8 percent to 129.50 kuna.
AD Plastika shares achieved a turnover of 17.6 million kuna in January, and on a monthly basis, their price rose by 11.5 percent to 119.01 kuna. The preferred shares of Adris Group were traded for 15.8 million kuna in January, with their price increasing by 15.4 percent to 286.11 kuna.
