The analytical company IDC Adriatics today announced the organization of the first conference on the topic of Big Data and Business Analytics Forum 2013, which will be held in collaboration with its partners on February 7 of this year at the Antunović Hotel in Zagreb.
The conference will provide insight into a comprehensive offering of high-quality servers, data warehouses, analytics, and databases that help in transferring a vast array of data and information.
– Big Data, as a relatively new term in IT terminology, simply put, represents a combination of tools for business intelligence (BI) and data storage systems. In this regard, the Croatian BI market recorded a turnover slightly above 8 million USD, indicating stagnation in 2011, while the value of the domestic storage systems market reached just over 30 million USD, with a slight decline compared to 2010 – claims Boris Žitnik, director of IDC Adriatics.
The long-standing successful collaboration with leading companies in the ICT industry continues at this conference, where partners Adacta, Poslovna inteligencija, and SAP, along with independent speaker Ratko Mutavdžić, will present their insights and showcase interesting solutions, trends, and innovations. Approximately one hundred participants are expected at the conference.
