Ansgar Bornemann new regional director of Nestle Adriatica

Mr. Ansgar Bornemann, former general manager for Serbia and executive business director in the ice cream sector in the region, has taken over the position of regional director of Nestle Adriatic since January 2013.

His headquarters will be in Belgrade with offices in Belgrade and Zagreb.

Bornemann replaces Mr. Marco Travaglia, who has returned to Italy and taken over the position of general manager of business at Nestlé Purina PetCare for Southern Europe.
At the same time, Mr. Miljenko Vaić, former regional sales director, has been appointed to the position of director for the northern part of the region and general manager of business for the markets of Slovenia, Croatia, and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

– One of the main drivers of the company during the previous period was our commitment to the continuous growth of the Adriatic region, which will be our main goal in the future. We firmly believe in the potential of the region where we will continue to develop and expand our business – said Mr. Ansgar Bornemann, the newly appointed director of Nestlé Adriatic.
During the past year, Bornemann served as the general manager of Nestlé for Serbia and Montenegro. He joined Nestlé in March 2003, taking the position of marketing director for Nestlé ice creams in Germany. Four years later, he took over the position of executive director in the ice cream sector, where he remained until his arrival in Serbia. Before Nestlé, Mr. Bornemann gained extensive experience and expertise working in international food companies around the world.
