The mayor of Dubrovnik and HNS candidate for mayor Andro Vlahušić will withdraw from the local election race, writes today’s Globus.
According to information from the weekly, the HNS has already made the decision, and the mayor of Dubrovnik has been given the space to announce it to the media himself.
– Although Vlahušić was our asset in the elections in Dubrovnik and enjoyed our support, unfortunately, the court decision has changed the circumstances and he must withdraw. He knows this, and it is only a matter of time before he announces his decision, – said an HNS official to Globus.
The party will support the SDP candidate and Vlahušić’s current deputy Niko Šilja in Dubrovnik.
