The Sixth Workshop of the HOWtoWOW Academy Will Be Dedicated to Radio

The Croatian Association of Market Communication Agencies is organizing the sixth HOWtoWOW marketing academy workshop on the topic of successful audio branding on Tuesday, February 5, 2013.

Guest speaker Diarmid Moncrieff will share his extensive knowledge and experience with the academy participants regarding the role of sound in advertising, the importance of sound in perception and message transmission, as well as the advantages and principles of radio advertising. The lecture is divided into theoretical and practical parts, and in line with the theme, no visual aids will be used, only voice and sound.

Diarmid Moncrieff is a development expert and consultant for sales and creative teams, primarily in the field of radio advertising, and has designed campaigns for brands such as Coca-Cola, Samsung, and Unilever. In Zagreb, he will speak at the HOWtoWOW workshop about the opportunities that sound provides for successful branding, which, in his opinion, is not sufficiently capitalized in advertising campaigns. Moncrieff believes that successful audio branding strategies can generate massive awareness even when the ad is only passively consumed and make small advertisers sound big.

For this reason, the emphasis in the workshop will be placed on radio as a communication channel that can achieve an exceptionally high impact relative to the invested resources.
