Visitors of the world travel portal for evaluating service quality in tourism – TripAdvisor, have rated three Valamar hotels as the best hotels in Croatia, as announced by the tourism company.
Hotel guests awarded the ‘2013 Travellers’ Choice award’ to Valamar hotels in two categories: TOP 25 hotels in Croatia and TOP 10 hotels based on quality and price ratio. These include the Valamar Lacroma Dubrovnik and the Valamar Riviera in Poreč, which were ranked among the 25 best Croatian hotels according to travelers’ choices, as well as the Pical hotel in Poreč, which made it into the top ten for quality and price ratio in Croatia. The TripAdvisor portal features over 75 million reviews and ratings from users of tourism services, and the portal has more than 60 million individual monthly visitors.
Guests evaluating the hotels noted that the atmosphere at Valamar Lacroma is excellent, with nearly 60 percent of those rating the service giving it an excellent score. The majority of guests were couples and families with children. The Poreč hotel Valamar Riviera is the best among 33 hotels in Poreč according to TripAdvisor visitors. Fifty percent rated the hotel as excellent, while nearly 35 percent rated it as very good. The Pical hotel received a very good rating from 55 percent of guests, and 33 percent rated it as excellent, placing it in the ninth position among the best hotels in Poreč.
