The average monthly net salary paid per employee in legal entities in Croatia for November last year was 5,681 kuna, announced today by the Croatian Bureau of Statistics.
This is an increase of 194 kuna or nominally 3.5 percent compared to the average net salary for October, which was 5,487 kuna. Salaries for November are usually higher than those for October due to, in companies that pay them, the payment of Christmas bonuses and other material rights.
However, on an annual basis, statistics record a decline in the average net salary – the net salary for November last year was 48 kuna or 0.8 percent lower than in November 2011. According to preliminary data from the CBS, the average monthly gross salary per employee in legal entities in Croatia for November was 8,079 kuna. Compared to the gross salary for October, this is an increase of 189 kuna or 2.4 percent, while compared to November 2011, it is 52 kuna or 0.6 percent lower.
