The care program includes the payment of incentive severance amounts of 3,000 kuna for each year of service in the companies of the Podravka Group, the company announced via the Zagreb Stock Exchange.
This decision is, as they emphasize, a continuation of the reorganization process in the company aimed at optimizing costs and increasing operational efficiency, as well as ensuring job sustainability and the long-term competitiveness of Podravka in domestic and foreign markets.
‘-Podravka is at a turning point where changes are necessary to ensure long-term and sustainable growth. To ensure the long-term and sustainable growth of the company, we must secure sustainable jobs and increase efficiency while reducing operating costs. We will achieve this through the implementation of the Employee Care Program, which will take care of employees in a way that will financially satisfy each program participant and existentially secure them through an incentive severance payment of three thousand kuna for each year of uninterrupted service in Podravka,’ stated Podravka’s CEO Zvonimir Mršić.
The restructuring of Podravka will take place in several cycles, and after restructuring was initiated and then halted a few years ago, this marks the beginning of the first cycle of restructuring, which is a necessary and well-designed step, all aimed at strengthening the company in relation to competition in increasingly demanding markets, both domestic and foreign.
