Tax Inspectors Seal 9 Business Premises

In the past eight days, from Tuesday, January 8 to today, January 16, tax inspectors have identified irregularities in 323 fiscalization obligors, most of whom have rectified the irregularities, while nine business premises have been sealed.

During this period, three hospitality business premises in Vukovar were sealed, two each in Pazin and Dubrovnik, and one each in Split and Čakovec, as announced by the Tax Administration on its website.

The majority of tax obligors where irregularities were identified, slightly more than 97 percent, or 314 tax obligors, rectified the irregularities identified by inspectors during the oversight of the application of the provisions of the Law on Fiscalization in Cash Transactions within the given timeframe.

The largest number of irregularities in the past eight days was identified in the area of the Tax Administration’s regional office in Zagreb, but all tax obligors in that area, 94 of them, rectified the irregularities that were observed.

Following in the number of identified, but also rectified irregularities, is the regional office in Split, where 48 obligors rectified irregularities within the given timeframe, while one business premises was sealed.

In the area covered by the tax inspectors of the regional office in Osijek, 14 tax obligors rectified irregularities in the application of the Law on Fiscalization, while 13 obligors rectified irregularities in Gospić, Slavonski Brod, and Dubrovnik, etc.

The smallest number of irregularities, five each, was identified among tax obligors in the areas of the regional offices in Krapina, Karlovac, Zadar, and Šibenik, and all these tax obligors have rectified those irregularities, according to Tax Administration data.
