Prima Furniture Presents in Cologne

Prima Furniture is participating in the world’s largest furniture fair, ‘IMM Cologne 2013’, which is being held until January 20 in the German city of Cologne. At their independent stand, Prima is showcasing new products from their range, including upholstered and solid wood furniture, the company reported.

They are presenting more than thirty new items of their own production, which have expanded their existing range. The director of Prima Furniture, Gordana Pušetić, stated that they are satisfied with this year’s performance in Cologne, believing that Croatian products can compete in the global market and expecting the expansion of existing contracts to new products, as well as attracting new customers.

Prima Furniture is a leading Croatian and regional furniture manufacturer with eight factories in Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Slovenia, as well as its own retail network of 47 showrooms in Croatia and four in Macedonia.

The Prima Group generates 20 percent of its revenue from exports, exporting its products to the United Kingdom, Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, the Czech Republic, and Slovakia.

For 2013, Prima Furniture plans to expand its retail network in European Union countries and further steps into new markets.

Currently, Prima employs 1,850 workers, and new hiring is planned as part of further business expansion.

The international furniture fair ‘IMM Cologne 2013’ is the largest furniture fair in the world, with an exhibition space of over 230,000 square meters, featuring 1,200 exhibitors from 50 countries.
