Prime Minister Zoran Milanović will travel to Belgrade on Wednesday for a working visit, confirmed by the Government to HRT. Prime Minister Milanović will meet with Serbian Prime Minister Ivica Dačić in Belgrade.
Let us recall that the Serbian Prime Minister stated last week that he is ready to meet with Milanović. The relations between Serbia and Croatia need to be thawed, reset, and started anew, he said, adding that it would not be good to allow the relations between Belgrade and Zagreb to enter an even worse phase. We must be aware that we cannot agree on everything, we do not have to show any love, but political cooperation and political relations between Serbia and Croatia must exist, he stated.
The preparation for the meeting of the two prime ministers was confirmed on December 31 by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Vesna Pusić. The purpose is a positive shift, not just a good photograph in the media, Pusić stated in an interview with the Novi Sad Daily.
