The consortium Dalekovod d.d., Dalekovod Ljubljana d.o.o. and Elektroservisi d.o.o. signed a contract with the Slovenian client Elektro-Slovenija d.o.o. (ELES) on September 2, 2011, for the construction, procurement, and installation of metal structures, construction works, and electrical installation works for the construction of the facility DV 2×400 kV Beričevo Krško.
Despite initial difficulties (the postponement of the contract signing for a month, delays in resolving ownership relations on the ground, later obtaining permits and necessary documentation from the originally planned deadlines…), the project implementation is proceeding according to the jointly established and mutually accepted plan by both contracting parties. The status of the work on the ground confirms that the power line, which is of great interest to the electricity system in Slovenia, should be completed within the planned timeframe and within the planned financial resources. Therefore, the stoppage of construction work, a decision made by ELES, from the perspective of Dalekovod d.d. and other consortium members involved in the construction, is a move that could cause multiple damages for all parties in the contract, especially for the Slovenian electricity system and the state budget from which the project is financed, emphasizes Dalekovod.
