Tax Inspectors Seal Six Hospitality Venues

Today, tax inspectors sealed six hospitality venues that violated the Law on Fiscalization in Cash Transactions, and the oversight of fiscalization obligations continues, the Tax Administration reported on its website.

These are hospitality venues where irregularities were identified on the first day of oversight of fiscalization obligations, January 8.

Out of them, 128 rectified the irregularities, while six hospitality venues were sealed, two each in Pazin and Vukovar, and one each in Split and Dubrovnik.

Obligors who had irregularities identified on Wednesday or Thursday also have two days to rectify the irregularities, i.e., to introduce a fiscal device, and if they fail to do so, their business premises will be sealed, the Tax Administration notes.

According to data published by the Tax Administration on its website, from January 8 to 10, a total of 7,431 inspections of the application of the Law on Fiscalization in Cash Transactions were conducted in 20 cities, where 578 irregularities were identified.

Irregularities were thus identified in 7.8% of cases, where it was established that hospitality facilities did not have fiscal devices.

Yesterday, there were 418 inspectors in the oversight of fiscalization obligors who identified 248 irregularities in 3,418 inspections conducted.

On Wednesday, January 9, 419 inspectors identified 197 irregularities in 2,483 inspections conducted, while on the first day of oversight, January 8, 392 inspectors identified 133 irregularities in 1,530 inspections conducted.
