Weber Escal d.o.o., a leading company in unaddressed distribution of leaflets and other promotional materials, has purchased a Swiss ecological battery-powered vehicle brand Kyburz, which is exclusively intended for parcel delivery.
At the level of the entire Austrian Post group, the owner of Weber Escal and the alternative postal operator Post d.o.o., an ecological project has been launched with the aim, among other things, of replacing gasoline-powered motor vehicles with ecological vehicles that do not pollute the environment.
The ecological awareness of the Austrian Post was recognized at the recently held POSTEXPO 2012 postal services fair in Brussels, where the Austrian Post received an award for its commitment to environmental protection. The electric vehicle with the interesting name Kyburz is produced in Switzerland by the manufacturer of the same name, which specializes in the production of postal auxiliary vehicles. The vehicle in question is a novelty and an attraction on Croatian roads, characterized by a long service life, comfort, and economy, as it has a load capacity of up to 270 kilograms and is extremely flexible for handling and use. Since it is an electric vehicle, it does not pollute the environment, and charging the battery requires a standard electrical outlet.
With the acquisition of this vehicle, Post. Hr becomes the first company in Croatia to procure a fully environmentally friendly vehicle for its operational needs.
