The new criminal law that came into effect on January 1 introduces new rules of behavior on the internet. Insult, defamation, and humiliation on computer systems or networks become criminal offenses. Offenders will be hit in the pocket, and the fine will be proportional to their income.
Illegal hackers and all those who use the internet to incite hatred and discrimination will end up behind bars. A prison sentence of up to three years will be imposed on anyone who publicly incites or makes available to the public leaflets, images, or other materials that call for violence or hatred via a computer system or network. This applies to the discrimination of group members based on their racial, religious, national, or ethnic affiliation, origin, skin color, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, or any other characteristics.
