Ledo has announced today that through a transaction on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, it has acquired 629,806 shares of Frikom from Agrokor, thereby obtaining a 95.83 percent stake in the equity of this ice cream and frozen food manufacturer from Belgrade.
In a notice published on the Zagreb Stock Exchange, Ledo states that the purchase price for the 629,806 shares of Frikom amounts to 10.8 billion dinars, which corresponds to 728.3 million kuna. At the end of last year, Ledo also acquired 100 percent of the shares in Ledo Podgorica from Agrokor for a purchase price of 150.1 million kuna.
As previously reported, by acquiring these companies, Ledo aims to consolidate the entire ownership structure of Agrokor in the ice cream and frozen food segment and become a regional leader in this segment.
In December, Ledo successfully completed the issuance of new shares with a 100 percent success rate, with all 93,750 offered new ordinary shares subscribed and paid at a price of 8,000 kuna, totaling 750 million kuna.
Through this recapitalization, Ledo aimed to raise funds for the acquisition of Frikom from Belgrade and Ledo Podgorica from Agrokor.
