Falkenstaineru HolidayCheck Award

Falkenstenier Hotel & Spa Iadera, Family Hotel Diadora and Hotel Adriana have received yet another esteemed recognition – the HolidayCheck Award 2013 – an annual award from the largest independent travel website in the German-speaking area.

More than 780,000 reviews from hotel guests over the past 12 months selected winners in seven categories: resorts, city hotels, wellness hotels, winter resorts, family hotels, hotels for couples, and the category for the best hotel in the country chosen among twenty major tourist destinations. In addition to the 99 best hotels in the world, another 450 were recognized by guests and received the TopHotel Award 2013. Hotel & Spa Iadera is a leader in Croatia in the category of hotels for couples, Family Hotel Diadora is the most desirable resort, and Falkensteiner Hotel Adriana received the TopHotel Award 2013.

Winning this prestigious award was not easy as every review received in a specific category must be positive. Furthermore, a minimum of 40 good guest reviews in the past 12 months is required, at least 90 percent of guests must leave a recommendation, and the average rating must be 5 on a scale from 1 (very low) to 6 (excellent). The HolidayCheck Award is a guest award aimed at future guests, informing them about the quality and services of hotels around the world. More than 150,000 hotels from 220 countries have received guest reviews so far. Falkensteiner hotels are well known to visitors of the HolidayCheck platform. In fact, this prestigious award was previously won by Falkensteiner Club Funimation Borik last year and Family Hotel Diadora in 2011.
