The refinery in Bosanski Brod, the main cause of air pollution in Slavonski Brod, is operational again.
Minister of Environment Protection Mihael Zmajlović has been informed in writing that they have completed the regular annual overhaul and are starting operations at full capacity.
The overhaul lasted just over a month and a half, so until January 1 of this year, they say from the refinery, only the heating maintenance unit was operational.
Therefore, we cannot be held responsible for exceeding the values of harmful substances in the atmosphere, claims the director of the refinery in Bosanski Brod, and he invites Minister Zmajlović to visit them again to confirm that the modernization of the facility is underway.
