Good will indeed triumph over evil, judging by the announced celebration of that victory which is already being extensively prepared at the Spituk Monastery in northern India, located eight kilometers from the city of Leh.
From the 27th to the 29th day of the eleventh month according to the Tibetan calendar, which this year coincides with January 9th and 10th, the victory of good over all evils in the world, including natural disasters, is celebrated in this 11th-century Buddhist temple. The multitude will once again fervently pray while Buddhist priests will perform tantric dances wearing masks that represent good, evil, deities, and demons, as they have been doing for centuries.
