Triglav Group will conclude 2012 with a net profit of 60 million euros, the highest in the history of this insurance company, reports Finance.
This information was confirmed yesterday at a meeting with journalists in Ljubljana by the CEO of Zavarovalnica Triglav, Matjaž Rakovec. Despite the profit, a decline in collected premiums was recorded; last year they amounted to 984 million, down from 989.4 million euros the year before.
Rakovec estimates that 2013 will also be challenging, meaning that Triglav’s premiums will continue to decline. The market capitalization of Zavarovalnica Triglav is 380 million euros, and the value of its shares increased by 70 percent in 2012.
