Dalekovod Stock Weakens by 15.7% in December

December was marked by a 2.2% decline in total trading on the Zagreb Stock Exchange, with regular trading in shares recording a 7.9% drop, and stock indices also weakened by more than one percent.

Total trading on the Exchange in December amounted to 327.5 million kuna, down 2.2% compared to the previous month, while regular trading in shares was 7.9% lower at 192.17 million kuna.

The stock indices ended the month with a decline in value, with Crobex falling by 1.1% compared to the end of November, to 1,740.39 points, and Crobex10 down 1.9% to 971.56 points. The most traded stock in December, with a turnover exceeding 36.2 million kuna, was HT’s stock, which fell by 2.5% during the last month to 197.20 kuna.

Following with a turnover of 22.5 million kuna was Ledo’s stock, which rose by 8.6% to 7,600 kuna. At the end of December, Ledo announced that it successfully completed the issuance of new shares with 100% success – all 93,750 offered new ordinary shares were subscribed and paid at a price of 8,000 kuna, totaling 750 million kuna. Ledo aimed to raise funds through this capital increase to purchase Frikom from Belgrade and Ledo Podgorica from Agrokor.

Privileged shares of Adris Group were sold for 15.2 million kuna, with a price decrease of 0.2% to 248.01 kuna. Dalekovod shares recorded a turnover of 11.49 million kuna in December, with a monthly price drop of 15.7% to 64.50 kuna.

Two weeks ago, Dalekovod announced that the Financial Agency (Fina) opened a pre-bankruptcy settlement procedure against the company, after which Fina also lifted the blockade on Dalekovod’s accounts. Končar EI shares achieved a turnover of about 9.78 million kuna, with a price increase of 2.8% to 650 kuna.

On the list of the ten most traded stocks are also shares of Ericsson Nikola Tesla with a turnover exceeding 8.2 million kuna, shares of Petrokemija with a turnover above 6.2 million kuna, and shares of Vira, Atlantska plovidba, and Podravka with turnovers above five million kuna. Meanwhile, the price of Ericsson NT shares rose by 8.3%, Petrokemija by 0.7%, Vira by 1.9%, while the price of Atlantska plovidba shares fell by 11.8%, and Podravka by 11%.
