The regular trading volume of the Zagreb Stock Exchange this week amounted to nearly 43 million kuna, and the stock indices increased by an average of about 4 percent compared to the end of last week, allowing Crobex to surpass the level of 1,800 points for the first time since early May, while Crobex10 exceeded the level of 1,000 points.
Crobex strengthened by 4.10 percent on a weekly basis, reaching 1,810.14 points, marking its highest level since May 7 of last year.
The specialized Crobex10 increased by 3.79 percent compared to last Friday, ending the week at 1,010.31 points. This is the first time since May 4, 2012, that Crobex10 trading has closed above 1,000 points, although it only slightly surpassed that level at that time, while the last time it was above 1,010 points was on March 19 of last year when it closed at 1,011 points.
The regular trading volume of the Zagreb Stock Exchange this shortened working week, due to the holiday on January 1, amounted to 42.97 million kuna.
The most traded stocks were those of Ericsson Nikola Tesla with a turnover of 4.2 million kuna and HT shares with just over 4 million kuna. Both stocks also recorded price increases, with Ericsson Nikola Tesla up by 3.42 percent to 1,421 kuna, and HT up by 3.83 percent to 208 kuna.
