This year should bring privatizations of Croatia osiguranje, HPB, highways, Petrokemija, RIZ, and companies from the portfolio of the Ministry of Tourism.
These include the companies ZRC Lipik, Bizovačke toplice, HTP Korčula, Hoteli Podgora, Hoteli Živogošće, Hotel Medena, Hoteli Plat, Vranjica Belvedere, HTP Orebić, Dalma, Hoteli Maestral, Hoteli Makarska, Imperila, and Modra Špilja.
The shares to be privatized vary for each of the companies. Complete privatization is planned for the companies in the tourism portfolio, while in those still considered strategic for Croatia, such as Croatia osiguranje and HPB, it is desired to retain at least 25 percent of the shares plus one share. Podravka is not on the menu for now, despite investor interest; the plan is for the state to retain its approximately twenty percent of shares.
