Ostojić: Evidence of Surveillance Was Destroyed

The police did not wiretap the Chief State Attorney Mladen Bajić, reported Interior Minister Ranko Ostojić.

He stated that Bajić’s contacts with four journalists and the editor-in-chief of Jutarnji list were indirectly monitored.

There were also records for five journalists, while there were none for the other three because it was allegedly not possible to determine which phone was being used.
Ostojić emphasized that there was evidence of concealment and destruction of documents related to the surveillance.
