The indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange are slightly down today, with the most trading occurring in the shares of Končar Elektroindustrija, while the biggest winner is the stock of Dalekovod, which has increased by almost 10 percent.
The Crobex index was down 0.18 percent around noon, at 1,725 points, while Crobex10 was down 0.17 percent, at 969 points. Regular trading amounted to 10.1 million kuna, which is 2 million more than yesterday at this time.
– As expected, there is stagnation in the domestic market today. The shares of Končar and Dalekovod are in the greatest focus of investors. It is the end of the week, and most investors have the upcoming holidays on their minds rather than the stock market, so I expect calm trading until the end of the day – says Maja Bešević Vlajo, portfolio manager at Podravska banka.
The highest turnover was achieved by the shares of Končar Elektroindustrija, amounting to 2.63 million kuna. Its price jumped by 3.32 percent, to 630 kuna.
The biggest winner, however, is the stock of Dalekovod, with a price increase of 9.82 percent, to 69.65 kuna, with a turnover of 780,000 kuna.
Dalekovod announced this morning that the Financial Agency (Fina) unblocked the company’s account on December 20, which will enable the normal continuation of business and fulfillment of contractual obligations to investors, suppliers, and above all to the company’s employees.
Dalekovod’s account had been blocked since October 29, and on November 14, a proposal was submitted to Fina for the opening of pre-bankruptcy settlement proceedings against Dalekovod, stating that the total debts of the company exceed 1.5 billion kuna.
The biggest loser, however, is the stock of Badel 1862 – its price fell by 7.86 percent, to 40 kuna.
