At today’s meeting of the Supervisory Board of Podravka, at the proposal of the CEO Zvonimir Mršić, it was decided to expand the Management Board with a new member.
As reported by the company, Hrvoje Kolarić has been appointed as a member of the Management Board with the aim of strengthening the pharmaceutical part of the Podravka Group’s business and better utilizing the synergy between the food and pharmaceutical segments of the business.
Kolarić graduated in 1998 from the Faculty of Pharmacy and Biochemistry at the University of Zagreb, and in 2011 he also obtained the title of Master of Business Administration at IEDC Bled. He was the director of BMS Pharmaceuticals, then the director of PharmaSwiss d.o.o. Croatia, a manager at the Bristol-Myers Squibb representative office for Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina, and then a manager for allergy and respiratory products at the Schering Plough representative office in Croatia. He was appointed as a member of the Management Board of Belupo in May 2005, and this year he was appointed as the president of the Management Board of Belupo.
At the meeting, approval was given to the Group’s business plan for the next year and the strategy for the next five-year period, with an emphasis on increasing operational efficiency, profitable growth, and further strengthening the position in the domestic and key foreign markets.
